Produced in the late 1960s, the Rolex Daytona 6263 represents one of the finest examples of vintage sports watchmaking. The Paul Newman Mk1 configuration is undoubtedly the rarest and most desirable.

The 37mm stainless steel Oyster case, with ribbed screw-down pushers and a caseback, guaranteed greater robustness and waterproofness than previous references with smooth pushers. The Bakelite tachometric bezel with a 200 scale is an iconic element.

The dial is the true protagonist, considered an exotic dial at the time and later made legendary by the pilot and actor Paul Newman.

Inside, the manual-winding Valjoux 727 caliber, modified by Rolex to ensure greater frequency and precision, beats. Today, it is considered one of the most reliable manual-winding chronograph movements.
